50 yrs in readers digest form!

Graduated from Akron U. Taught in Greentown, then married and moved to Florida in 1974. Have been here since, with a few years spent near brothers, David, Gary and mom, Barb on Whidbey Island in Washington. Dad (Mr Shellenberger, biology at litchfield,passed away in 1999). Gary is now back in Hudson.

I taught elementary and middle school for 25 years, mostly in Florida. Second career as an artist, painting watercolors and silk and currently doing mosaics. Married Jonathan and retired in 2006. We traveled extensively, but I have now settled in to teaching zumba (10 years) and working as a foster meowm with several kitten/cat rescues for the last 5. It’s a family activity. Mom lives with us and at 91, is a great bottle baby feeder, jonathan feeds and keeps supplies stocked and we all work on socializing. It’s a lot of work, but great fun.

Moved from house on the water in St.Pete to Clearwater last year..New home with lots of destruction/construction which has lots of garden and studio space and we love it here.
